I prefer things that are beautiful, and broken.

They give me a reason

to go on

and asking...

How can I make this better?

And I really love to make things better.

It's not rocket science, but it's more than just common sense.

Great design takes hard, thoughtful and enduringly optimistic work.

And most of that work

will never be seen.

Because great design

is invisible.

Great design

makes you feel understood.

Great design

comes from knowing what matters...

knowing your principles,

and sticking to them.

I prefer things that are beautiful, and broken

Because they're human.

And I believe in making beautiful things

for human beings

to make being human better.

Let's Make Things Better.

My Core Principles

I'm a maker, a problem solver, a solutionaire (yeah). I align myself to the work that I love: conscientious, consistent, creative design for human beings.

Digital or analog, the cooling point between art and science is where my heart lies. You can explore this space infinitely inward or out, and as I'm easily bored, I do.

Single-tasking is critical to simplicity. Focus deeply on what you're doing, who you're with, right here, right now. And now. And now...

A smooth blend, equal parts silly / sassy. If my life was an app, humor would be its user interface. Damn, that's a funny, handsome app.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.
